Who We Are
Founder and owner of AMORÉ Pet Sitting Services, Tricia Balancio, has been actively pet sitting since the fall of 2006 when she engaged in a partnership with Dog Moms Pet Sitting and Home Care. Now venturing on her own, Tricia brings not only immediate experience in the field, but a life-long passion for animals. Starting out at age 3 with her first pet, a black german shepherd fondly named, Lassie, to her present day shepherd, Dakota, Tricia has never been without animals in her life. Following in her father's footsteps working with horses, Tricia became a full-time volunteer and later employee of a therapeutic horseback riding program in San Marcos, CA During this time, she was a volunteer for the Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. She helped those with special needs work as flag attendants for the Cross Country Three-Day Equestrian Event. Because of her love and interest in all kinds of animals and their survival; as well as, her volunteer efforts with the San Diego Zoo and the San Diego Chargers, Tricia found herself making two incredible trips of nature study: Africa and Australia. After marrying husband, Ralph and having son, Luke Bronx, this little Italian family became volunteers for German Shepherd Rescue of Orange County while living in San Diego. Now, after moving to Tucson to help take care of her elderly parents, Tricia and family are still involved with GSROC, having placed several dogs in their forever homes here in Arizona and participating in fundraising efforts. As time permits, Tricia hopes the family can become involved in rescue and animal care efforts here in the Tucson area.
Tricia is dedicated to keeping current with the latest in pet care, veterinary medicine, pet psychology and pet/people training techniques and philosophies. Having attended many seminars by leading dog trainers and pet psychologist; as well as, animal interpreters, and various members of the Tucson Pet Care Network, TPCN, Tricia brings a lot of information and experience to her daily job. As a member of the TPCN, her knowledge is also expanded by listening to and learning from the many guest speakers that attend the monthly meetings. Helpful information that she is eager to share with you as pet owners, either one on one or through email messages.

As a pet owner or caregiver, one should always remain calm and assertive so that your animal will be calm and submissive. The leadership role and energy that is projected is sensed by our animals and they will react accordingly. Achieve balance between you and your pet.
